Other ways Construction Industry Video can help your business

Testimonials: Shooting customer reviews is a great use for your Construction Industry Video. We’ve all been onto website and sen the same faceless reviews shouting about how great a product or service is. We also know how common place it is for businesses to pay for reviews that aren’t 100% real. Physically having a genuine client presenting a piece to camera about just how great your product, workmanship and service has been is a a very worthwhile piece of marketing. This type of review will definitely improve your status as ‘market leader’ your specialist area.

Case Studies: I wrote in my last post that ‘case study’ blog posts are a great way to focus on solving specific problems depending on the type of audience and their individual roles. If you have a case study which focuses on solving technical issues then support the case study by filming the technical representative who helped solve the issue, highlighting how you overcame the problem by designing or specifying a particular product.

East Anglian Children’s Hospice – Norwich Drone Photography

We’ve been providing Norwich Drone Photography to clients for almost seven years and excusing the pun, the time literally has “flown by.” We’ve built a great professional portfolio of aerial photography and aerial filming across a diverse range of industries , so when the chance presented itself to support the wonderful East Anglian Children’s Hospice at the Nook Hospice in Norwich, we couldn’t wait to take our Norwich Drone Photography to the skies. East Anglian Children’s Hospice (EACH) offer care and support for children and young people with life-threatening conditions and support families across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. East Anglian Children’s Hospice offer families flexibility and control over where they receive their care and support, including where their child dies; at home, in hospital or at one of three hospices at Milton (Cambridge), The Nook (Norfolk) and The Treehouse (Ipswich).

Norwich Drone Photography. East Anglian Children's Hospice

The Nook has literally transformed children’s palliative care in Norfolk and North Suffolk with the construction of a fabulous, purpose-built hospice in the heart of Norfolk, The Nook is a modern building nestled in the heart of rural Framingham Pigot providing much needed care. The facilities replaced the existing Quidenham Hospice and has been designed to support families in Norfolk and North Suffolk with the very best services in an accessible purpose-built environment. East Anglian Children’s HospiceWe rely heavily on voluntary donations to support the services we are able to offer to families, children and young people with life-threatening conditions. Support is provided free of charge and EACH rely on voluntary donations for the majority of their income and need to raise over £6 million from fundraising and £5 million in income from our shops each year. Continued improvements in care means children and young people are living longer and with more complex medical conditions. There are currently more than 2,000 children and young people in the area living with a life-threatening condition, who may require an aspect of the service EACH deliver. This figure is growing rapidly. Public Health studies report this could be as high as 6,000 by 2025. Awareness and understanding of our services are also growing, meaning a higher proportion of that increasing figure will inevitably be seeking care and support. Careers may have to be put on hold, healthy brothers and sisters can feel left out and regular family activities and holidays can be rare. During all of this, families are going through a process of grieving. EACH care and support is tailored for the needs of all family members and delivered where the families wish – in their own home, at hospital, in the community or at one of three hospices in Ipswich, Milton and Norfolk. They currently care for 365 children and young people and 463 family members receiving face-to-face support. The family centred approach includes specialist nursing care, symptom management nursing, short breaks, wellbeing activities, therapies, counselling and volunteer services in the family home; all meeting the individual needs of the child, young person and whole family.

Norwich Drone Photography – Choosing the right operator

Flying drones is tremendously fun for people of all ages but there are some big differences between recreational flying and operating as a Licensed Pilot. The combination of fun and endless possibilities for videographers can lead to some inexperienced pilots getting in over their heads. As more inexperienced pilots take on jobs, the chance of accidents occurring increases leaving both the PILOT and CLIENT legally LIABLE for possible damages. Any drone pilot receiving payment for aerial work is legally required to have CAA / IAA permission and valid commercial insurance. Choosing a registered pilot, you can rest assured that you are employing the services of an approved drone pilot who operates in accordance with UK/ ROI drone laws. We’ve been shooting Norwich Drone Photography for many years. In fact, we were among the first 3118 people in the UK to obtain a Permission for Commercial Operation back in the days where Norwich Drone Photography was quite rare. Drones have revolutionised the way we do business but to maximise your investment and any money spent on done footage or photography  as a client there are always a number of things to check before employing a drone pilot.

License – Always ask to see a valid Permission for Commercial Operation or Licensed to cover the type of drone being flown. You can check that your Pilot is Licensed here on the Civil Aviation Authority Website. You’ll find us under Lee Blanchflower Trading as Blanc Creative.

Risk Assessment – Any professional pilot will limit risks on site by preparing a Pre Flight Risk Assessment. Request to see a copy of this document before any flights take place.

Insurance – Valid Insurance is a MUST HAVE before any flights take place. Flight insurance can be obtained as an annual policy or can be purchased immediately prior to flight so there is no excuse to allow your pilot to fly without insurance.

If you think we could help your business with our range of Drone Photography and Drone Filming, then why not contact our team today. We’ll talk you through every step of your project from concept to delivery. You can speak with the Blanc Team on Mob: 07871 364041 or email: studio@blanc-creative.com

Charity Video Production – Barnsley Hospice Fundraiser

Charity Video Production Norfolk  -Films for Fundraising

Charity Video Production is just one of the many fundraising areas that we’ve been involved with at Blanc Creative over the past ten years. We’ve worked nationally and locally supporting numerous charities including Macmillan Cancer Research, Cancer UK, East Anglian Children’s Hospice, Round Table and Break Charity to name just a few. As society, we’re battling with Coronavirus, lockdowns, social distanced families and a situation that has literally forced people to hide in their own homes. It is an absolute fact that video has emerged as a primary source of communication, education, and entertainment through Covid-19 and we’re arguably consuming more video than ever before. Whether it’s well known brands, product placement or personal social videos, moving image is everywhere on social media and a lot of marketers are using it to their advantage, to advertise their businesses, products or services.

Charity Video Production is an amazing way to reach audiences during a time where physical fundraising just may not be a possibility. Social distancing and shielding of vulnerable individuals is often not possible as more stringent conditions are placed across the UK. Charities rely heavily on public donations and donors, Creating an emotional video that grabs public attention is a superb tool to fundraising. We’re arguably consuming more video than ever right now — most of it on social media and more and more people social distancing are just waiting to discover you.

At Blanc Creative, we produce short films that help charities succeed in their fundraising goals without having to spend copious amounts of money. People may very argue that you need to speculate to accumulate, but our ethos ids very much a fair days pay for a fair days work. Our Charity Videos have great content at costs that we truly believe offer fantastic value for your organisation.

Barnsley Hospice Case Study

We love working on charity video production projects and whilst we are based in the city of Norwich, we work with our clients across the length and width of the UK.  One Charity Video Production we worked on was with the amazing Barnsley Hospice, a charity which provides specialist compassionate care to hundreds of local people every year from all over Barnsley.

Barnsley Hospice provides specialist palliative care provides help and support to people with active and progressive life-limiting illnesses such as Cancer, Heart Disease or Parkinson’s. This care strives to improve quality of life for patients and their families by providing pain and symptom relief, spiritual and social support; and counselling and bereavement services. We have an expert multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals who make sure your care is safe, effective and relevant to you. A Hospice is not just a building – it is a way of caring for people. With our support, patients are able to benefit from the best possible care throughout their illness and at the end of their life. Our expert individual care is free for patients and their families but not free to provide. We gratefully receive a grant from the NHS each year, but have to raise additional funding to stay open. Barnsley Hospice relies heavily on public and company donations, legacies, grants, community and eight charity shops. Barnsley Hospice has over 300 volunteers who contribute nearly 60,000 hours a year to the Hospice. Specialist palliative care provides help and support to people with active and progressive life-limiting illnesses such as Cancer, Heart Disease or Parkinson’s. This care strives to improve quality of life for patients and their families by providing pain and symptom relief, spiritual and social support; and counselling and bereavement services.

We worked closely with the in-house fundraising team at Barnsley Hospice to produce a charity film that was both informative, engaging and spoke from the heart about the wonderful services that the Hospice delivers, from both the perspective of the Fundraising team and valuable volunteers  who provide life changing donations to the Hospice. The Charity Video Production not only serves as an important visual marketing tool for all social media platforms, but was also showcased at Barnsley Football Club on match day, presented to supporters on the Clubs Big Screens.

Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event

Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning stirred up some big conversation and whole lot of coffee and cake. People all over the UK hosted their own Coffee Mornings and donations on the day are made to Macmillan. The 25th September saw the official date for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and Blanc Creative were super pleased to shot some great promotional images for Macmillan’s national campaign. Cancer can affect people’s whole lives, their health, money, family, job; everything. And, after more than 100 years of caring, Macmillan understand that the most important thing is to treat people as individuals, not patients. Macmillan take the time to understand the support people need to live their lives as fully as they can. From the moment of diagnosis and whenever we’re most needed, they help people find their best way through, totally focused on each individual person, so everyone receives the support that’s best for them.

2020 was set to be Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and Blanc Creative were commissioned by Macmillan Cancer Research to undertake PR Photography that would be used for advertising. With over a decade of experience, the Team couldn’t wait to deliver Massive images of some very small people.

Merrivale Model Village on the seafront at Great Yarmouth, has for 59 years delighted visitors with its miniature marvels. Macmillan’s Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning officially took over the site with an army of model army of tiny coffee lovers, giving a publicity push to the one of the best known, annual charity events out there. Frank and Frances Newsome have owned the business for the last three years ad chose to support the charity after Mr Newsome’s experiences receiving treatment for testicular cancer in 1995.

The 59-year-old recalled the support the charity gave to a fellow patient who was worried that due to his cancer he would not be able to provide for his family. Mr Newsome said: “A Macmillan professional came onto the ward to explain how the charity could support him when he moved back home, and it was just like a weight had lifted. “He needed a new washing machine and it was Macmillan who paid for a replacement and arranged for it to be installed. Knowing he had some additional support, especially on a practical level, really helped him to see things differently.”

Mr Newsome said: “It’s was great to hear that Macmillan was still doing more of that – providing financial and practical support when families are pushed into the red by cancer, and helping people come to terms with terrifying diagnoses. We hope our villagers will inspire others to take part in their own small way.” The business, which turns 60 next year, has faced a challenging time like many attractions as the pandemic forced it to shut up shop during its busy spring and summer season. Following the introduction of the rule of six, the charity had seen an uptake in cake-away, where friends and family arrive at a pre-allotted time to retrieve their cake, make a donation and leave.

If you think your business could benefit from professional commercial photography or high quality video production, then please reach out to our team today and we’ll help turn your visions into stunning images. Why not call the office on Mob: 07871 364041 or email: studio@blanc-creative.com

Norfolk launches Socially Distanced Music Festivals

Socially distanced music festivals are probably one of the last things you’d expect to see at the end of a summer ravaged by the Coronavirus pandemic, especially in the heart of provincial Norfolk. However, Six months after lockdown forced concerts, events and the entertainment industry to a grinding halt, it was a breath of fresh air to dust off the cameras and video equipment to cover not just one, but a whole series of Socially Distanced Concerts under the Summertime Social Brand. Held at the Norfolk Showground brought well known artists to Norwich including Judge Jules, Fabio & Grooverider & Sonique to name just a few. In addition to the Socially Distanced Music Festivals, Summertime Social also offered Socially Distanced Comedy Clubs and a Drive-in Cinema experience
