Commercial Photography Norwich - Archer's Butchers

Norwich is blessed with a host of amazing food businesses that pride themselves on the very best provenance, heritage and pure quality of produce. One of the greatest examples of this is Archer’s Butchers of Norwich, an Award winning Butchery established back in 1929. Archers Butchers is a fantastic shop incorporating a modern delicatessen and baguette takeaway combined with a modern butchery showcasing an extensive range of the county’s very best meat, poultry and game. Now in its third generation, James (Jamie) Archer has taken the business into 2018 but maintained traditional techniques and methods used by his father (Jimmy) and grandfathers (John Archer & Oliver Craske.)

We had the pleasure of working alongside the Archer’s Team as they delivered one of the Beginners Butchery Evenings at the Plumstead Road Shop in Norwich. An intimate group of customers were given a memorable meat experience, that included a behind the scenes tour of Norwich’s premier Butchery, demonstrations of ‘nose to tail’ butchery and a rare opportunity to actually make the now famous Archers Sausage, a historical recipe that even today is a closely guarded secret. We were extremely pleased to have been asked to document the evening as it unfolded, with a documentary styled selection of Commercial Photography. It was a chance to shoot relaxed business photography in a working environment where customers and staff did not feel uncomfortable with the camera’s presence.

PR Photography Norwich – Ladies Night at Great Yarmouth Racecourse

We’ve been providing Freelance PR Photography for nearly a decade. In the time my photography assignments have included celebrities, Concerts, Sporting Events and all manner of business clients. We’ve shot PR Photography across the  UK and a lot further afield (as an award-winning travel photographer.) St Peters Brewery – PR Photography Norwich

PR Photography Norwich

St Peters Brewery – PR Photography Norwich

St Peters Brewery are well known throughout Norfolk as a leading producer of Fine Ales. The brewery has built a fantastic reputation for using locally malted barley with Kentish hops to produce a range of classical English cask-conditioned ales and a range of superb bottled beers. Blanc Creative worked with St Peters back in 2015 at a time when CEO Steve Magnall had only just joined the business. It was a great surprise to hear from Steve again last week when the phone rang and I was asked if I could help out with an urgent commercial shoot for The Sunday Telegraph Newspaper. With a window of only 5 hours, time really was of the essence, but we knew we could deliver the brief for St Peters Brewery.

Having driven the 25 miles to the Brewery, we literally hit the ground running, producing PR Photography Norwich & Editorial Photography that would be suitable to advertise the latest St. Peters Brewery products as well as accompanying a full article that would be written by The Telegraph Newspaper. The imagery was edited on site and hi-resolution imagery transferred onto the St Peter’s Brewery computer within 2 hours of receiving the telephone call.

Chosen photographs were used to highlight story which appeared in an Article in the Newspaper on Sunday 7th August 2016 / Copy text from Daily Telegraph Newspaper

Weatherspoon's tap into St Peters Brewery

St. Peter’s Brewery in Norfolk has struck a deal with Wetherspoons and Stonegate pub chains who will soon begin pouring a range of non-alcoholic beers brewed by St. Peters Brewery. The move comes in a bid to tap into a rise in teetotalism among younger drinkers.  Suffolk brewery St. Peter’s, which already makes cask ales and bottled beers for pubs and supermarkets, has spent three years and nearly £1m developing its alcohol-free beer in a bid to counteract falling alcohol sales. Chief executive Steve Magnall says younger drinkers “have a completely different attitude to alcohol” which the leisure industry needs to respond to. “They drink less but still want a social pint at the end of the day,” he said.

The idea began in 2013 when St. Peter’s owner John Murphy, the branding guru behind HobNobs biscuits and the Mini Metro car, was diagnosed with cancer meaning he couldn’t drink the brewer’s range of organic ale, bitter, porter and stout. It has now signed supply deals with Stonegate, which runs 660 pubs in the UK, and JD Wetherspoons, which owns nearly 1,000 outlets, that will begin trialling the draft and bottled beers from next month.

Tesco will stock the beer later this year, as 1,300 Nisa stores, ahead of “Dry January”, an informal event when people give up alcohol for the month to either detox or raise money for charity. Around 21pc of Britons are now teetotal, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), which has crept up from 19pc five years ago, partly due to growing ethnic diversity but also a broader change in drinking habits.Although binge drinking is a recognised problem among young people, they are also far less likely to drink alcohol as an age group – around half of 16 to 24 year-olds (48pc) will have had a drink in the past week, compared with two-thirds of 45-64 year-olds, ONS figures show.

Mr Magnall said that the drinks market is rapidly moving towards lower-calorie and soft drinks. “But blokes, in particular, want to stand there holding a pint in their hand, not an orange juice or a coke,” he said.

St. Peter’s’ “Without” range, which turns out around 200,000 bottles a month, is made using a tightly-guarded brewing process that Mr Magnall says is different from versions already on the market, such as Becks Blue, where the alcohol is stripped from the beer during the alkalisation process.

“This process makes the beer very thin,” he said. “But our drink feels like you’re drinking a beer, looks like a beer, and tastes like a beer.”

It currently makes up 10pc of the £4m-turnover brewery’s output, with all 16 of its brewers required to sign a non-disclosure agreement to keep the brewing process a secret. At 0.009pc alcohol, according to the brewery’s latest test, Mr Magnall says there is more alcohol in a glass of orange juice than a bottle of Without. St. Peter’s brewery, which also has a gluten-free beer range, posted £3.8m sales in the year to February 28, 2015, according to the latest available results, and a £44,800 pre-tax loss.

Brudenell Hotel – Suffolk Food Photography

Suffolk Food Photography - Blanc Creative at the Bru Hote

Suffolk Food Photography doesn’t get much better than this! Nestled away at the quiet end of the seafront in the quaint Suffolk seaside town Aldeburgh is the Brudenell Hotel.  It’s literally a stone throw of a drive from London. Leave the bustling capital and in under two hours, you’re “Everything seems so much more laid back and even the stylish food photography that we shot at the Brudenell has an almost leisurely appearance as the live ingredients were assembled on nickel platters, stripping the food back to showcase its local heritage and a provenance. Fresh and ethically-sourced fish is also one of the core values of the Brudenell’s own Seafood and Grill restaurant, with a menu packed with fresh local fish, seafood and free-range meats prepared by a creative team of chefs. Shooting Suffolk Food Photography for an award-winning fish restaurant is genuinely a pleasure. Who wouldn’t want to photograph artwork on a plate?

For this particular Suffolk Food Photography shoot, the Banc Creative Team decided to adopt the most natural approach possible, shooting imagery using only natural lighting and dispensing with any artificial distractions. It was an important factor in retaining many of the deconstructed dishes and even the backdrop to the images was improvised using a wide window ledge overlooking the ocean. The paint had a hint of distress to it, which added a massive amount of character to the dishes. Blanc Creative have built a steadily increasing reputation for their Norfolk Food Photography and to break into Suffolk Food Photography with such a prestigious location is wonderful.

The 44-room luxury 4* hotel has been a fixture of the front since the 1880s, and despite having been renovated in 2010 it retains its Victorian charm, partly thanks to the huge bay windows in the bedrooms. Our deluxe room has a huge double bed and a sofa facing the bay window framing the sea view, while the bathroom has a free-standing bath and separate shower, typical of Aldeburgh’s unique brand of quaint luxury. There are a few thoughtful touches too, such as two big glass bottles of water – still and sparkling – refilled each morning and a basket full of books about the local area.

Fresh and ethically-sourced fish is also one of the core values of the Brudenell’s own Seafood and Grill restaurant, with a menu packed with fresh local fish, seafood and free-range meats prepared head chef Tyler Torrance. If you fancy something a bit different, the Brudenell’s sister hotel The White Lion – just a 15-minute walk along the beautiful seafront – also boasts a fantastic restaurant, the Brasserie Bleue. The brasserie has a more back to basics approach, with the relaxed feel of a very good gastropub.

PR Photography Norwich – Dragons Den

Bare naked Foods - PR Photography Norwich

PR Photography Norwich from Lee Blanchflower Limited

PR Photography is a form of commercial imagery which comes with a news angle. PR Photography is the cornerstone of many individuals, businesses or charities. Images are used to accompany anything from Good News Stories, Public Relations, awards, achievements.. Pretty much anything that increases the profile. PR Photography is literally found on every avenue of media from printed media, newspapers, magazines or online through social media and the many news websites across the globe.

Through shares, likes and press coverage these photographs can help raise the profile of a business, charity or person in what might be considered an organic way.

How does PR Photography differ from other Advertising Photography?

May Press outlets or Newspapers will take an interest in genuine PR stories that may make worthy news stories or generate sales of their product. PR photography tells a story and usually the imagery is set around the news article and a press release it relate to. Photographs have to be interesting and the use PR Photography re-enforces the key messages of the storytelling. More often than not, Agencies will send out embargoed documents that mean the photographer has the information needed deliver the story, but cannot use the information until such time that the time and date on the embargo have been reached. in the music industry, agencies may send out Editorial Information to Newspapers and websites of album releases or artist tour announcements. PR Photography is about promoting business.

PR Photography – Dragons Den

We’ve been shooting PR Photography for our clients for many years and our PR Photography has been seen in many publications and through all manner of websites and social media. One example of our PR Photography was working with Ross Mendham and the Barenaked Foods Brand. The Barenaked Food Company shot to fame after pitching their business to Peter Jones, Duncan Bannatyne, Kelly Hoppen, Deborah Meaden and Piers Linney on BBC Tv Show Dragons Den. A £60,000 investment from businessman Peter Jones on television show Dragons’ Den launched the product in 2013. It went into health food shops, was picked up by Morrisons and is now seen as a mainstream product on the shelves of literally all of the mainstream supermarkets in the UK. We worked with Barenaked Foods to provide PR Photography as the brand prepared to launch in Morissons Supermarket, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.

Residential Property Photography

Interior Photography Norwich

We’ve been shooting Interior Photography for a number of years. We’ve shot for a whole host of clients across the UK including major Restaurant Chains, Hotels and Estate Agents and Private Clients. Selling a property and moving house is one of the most stressful times in a person’s life. It may surprise you, but people spend more time looking at a car before purchasing it, than when buying their new home. Why is this relevant to Interior Photography? With more than 98 percent of buyers clicking on to the internet to search for their new homes, the first few seconds’ viewing has become make or break. You only need to go online and look at the range of photos on any popular property website and you will see a stark contrast in Interior Photography quality.

Interior Photography Norwich – How Important Is it?

You’ll see some showing bright, sunny rooms with minimal looks, clean rooms and a lack of clutter. Homes with floral arrangements, fresh towels and crisp bedding. On the flipside, you may very well see that the next house is filthy, unmade beds, dirty dishing in the sink, washing on the line and toys and clothes left lying around. High-Quality Interior Photography is by far the most important part of marketing your property for sale so it is worth having professional photos taken.  Today you have to take an active part in selling your home and learn to market it. You have to put yourself in the shoes of potential buyers who have a massive potential number of properties to view. What’s going to make your property stand out! The answer is Interior Photography.

Peoples impressions are won and lost through photographs. It doesn’t matter if it’s booking a holiday or buying a car, sales are generated through professional photography. The old cliche of a picture telling a thousand word is just so true.  you are seeing your house for the first time. The key to best presenting a house for sale is to tidy, declutter, clean, neutralise the decor, fix minor repairs, decorate if appropriate and subtly accessorise.”

Blanc Creative are a team of professional Norwich based creatives delivering awesome Event Photography and Film Production to document your corporate events. We’ve built an epic reputation, engaging with clients across every conceivable social background and documenting Charity Balls, Celebrity Dinners, Corporate Fundraisers and National Festivals across the UK. A great photographer will stealthily and unobtrusively capture the key moments and essence of your event. Event Photography is an awesome means of enabling businesses to maximise social engagement after the event has finished. A good Photographer will work hard, often walking for miles and barely taking a break to ensure that the event is reported in its full visual glory.

The cameras on most smartphones and tablets are superb quality and the effects that can be achieved with photo editing apps is astounding but can you really rely on your audience to crowdsource all of the key moments of the event you need? A professional event photographer is worth every single penny. Taking photos using smartphones and tablets is great means of capturing specific moments and particularly sharing on social media quickly, however, here is a huge gap between this type of imagery and the quality of the pictures returned Event Photography images of your business are suitable for press release, newsletters or internal brochures to name just a few uses. Working with a combination of styles including unobtrusive reportage or society magazine portraiture as your guests arrive, our high quality, affordable service means that you really will have the very best of both worlds.

At Blanc Creative We really Love Local and Longwater Construction are just one of our Norfolk based independent businesses for whom we regularly supply both commercial photography and event imagery. Longwater construction host annual events and work with local charity Events, including the now famous Breaking Clays, a high profile Clay Pigeon Shooting Event held inNorfolk hosted by TV Celebrity Jake Humphrey. Longwater Construction really embraced the spirit of Last Night of The Blickling Proms with a World War II Theme complete with poppies, camouflage nets, tin hats and sandbags.

Norfolk Tourism Photography – Commercial Photography Norfolk

Norfolk Tourism Photography

Norfolk Tourism Photography

Norfolk Tourism Photography

Shooting Norfolk Tourism Photography has been a significant aspect of our spring and summer work. We work with a number of independent companies and a large Tourism partnership across Norfolk. We have worked on a wide range of dedicated briefs to showcase local Norfolk Coastal based tourism. The images promote Norfolk Tourism to potential visitors. Our Norfolk Tourism Photography focused on beautiful landscapes but with a particular focus on the local life and the people who visit Norfolk. Building a bespoke set of Stock images for a business is important. Images need to reflect every demographic who visit our county but the concept is about enjoyment, fun, and relaxation.

Norfolk Tourism Photography doesn’t always have to be about vast landscapes and rolling clouds. With our bespoke Norfolk Tourism Photography, we use our experience to adopt a very simple approach. We photograph real people enjoying Norfolk. We obtain permission (always with written consent using a legal model release form) and document their visit to Norfolk. There really is nothing that captures the essence of our county more than real people enjoying their stay or life. It makes our Norfolk Tourism Photography so believable. Because it’s real!
