PR Photography is never better than when it’s delivery a good news story. We live in an age where Covid-19  has overtaken every element of our lives, so when a Press Photography assignment has a positive spin, it does make a photographers assignment so much more enjoyable. And that’s just what has happened as Norse Group and Norfolk County Council recently announce Seven new high-tech gritting vehicles will be helping keep Norfolk’s roads safe this winter. Norse Highways teams will be behind the wheel s of this super fleet of vehicles that received some great PR Photography attention at the unveiling ceremony at the Ford & Slater Group in Norwich. The seven new vehicles are being rolled out this winter as part of Norfolk County Council’s plans to update and replace its fleet of gritters. The vehicles will be managed and driven by Norse Highways and Over the winter months, with highly trained crews available every day to grit 49 routes that cover more than 2,200 treated miles across Norfolk. Last year over 10,800 tonnes of salt were used to grit Norfolk’s roads. Jason Glasspoole, Operations Director at Norse Highways, said his team was ready for the job in hand as the conditions now begin to turn colder.

“The new technology is more efficient at salt distribution and you get almost instant results and adjustments in the amount of salt being dispensed on to the road and the area of coverage,” he said. “All of which is even more efficient.”

Norfolk PR PhotographyCllr Martin Wilby, Cabinet Member for Highways and Infrastructure, said:

“These new gritters will have a long road ahead of them, as Norse Highways teams do their vital job to keep people safe as the colder weather sets in throughout the winter. It’s important for us to stay up to date and use the latest technology to be as efficient as possible, which is why we’re making these replacements. But it’s also important that people drive to conditions and be more careful as the nights draw in and we start seeing ice in the mornings.”

Does your Business need professional PR Photography? Here’s a few reasons why great Public relations Photography is a winner!

When pitching your news articles to journalists or press, your story and images are  everything. Professional PR Photography will undoubtedly assist while you are pitching and can all make a difference. Your subject matter will always  be the win-or-lose factor, but in a competitive field, professional PR Photography  reading the full story will obviously offer a stronger perspective on the subject. Picture Editors and News desks love a great PR Photograph because images sell stories and capture readers. The right PR Photography can make the difference between a story being published.

Norwich PR PhotographyIt’s not all about the Press! PR Photography has a multitude of uses.

If you are trying to reach your market on social media, the recent evolution of all platforms toward a more image-based feed should give you some clues. Research shows that posts with accompanying quality PR Photography images see a huge increase in engagement levels. This kind of engagement is hard to ignore.  Professional Photographs will make people stop and look at your social content, so invest in powerful images that sell your products and services. As far back as 2018, marketeers were indicating that over 80% of customers viewed at least 5 pieces of PR content before making a purchase from their supplier. Essentially, this means it taking  five or more touch points (a direct mail, an advert, some online content) for you to win over potential clients. Taking a consistent approach to PR Photography and marketing really is essential.  It’s not enough to have a one-off editorial article if all of your other blog posts and social media content is sub standard. Having a consistent, high quality approach will project a positive perception of your business.   You might think this is costly but the good news is that PR Photography from Blanc Creative Norwich is affordable and represents great value for money. Your business can have a library of bespoke commercial photographs covering everything about your business from Headshots, Team Photography and  PR photos for your internal or external communications. Our images are licensed without any time restrictions across all digital and printed media platforms.

Commercial Portrait Photography

Commercial Portrait Photography allows you to tell a story and convey more about your business, your staff and what you do. Commercial Portrait Photography can be undertaken in a studio, but capturing staff in their natural woking environment opens up a whole new world of creative possibilities and showcases far more about your business than a plain background ever will. Shooting Commercial portrait in a typical environment also helps staff to relax.  Familiarity lends itself to putting your subject at ease and this is a huge factor in producing natural portraits. To coincide with a re-branding project, we’ve once again been working in the Norfolk Tourism Sector with one of our regular clients, The Bure Valley Railway.

Bure Valley Railway is a major tourist attraction within Norfolk and welcomes over 100,000 visitors a year. With a small team of dedicated staff and volunteers the railway operates on a not for profit basis. Husband and wife team, Andrew and Susan, head up the management team. Andrew’s love of railways from a little boy drew him to Norfolk and he became involved in the railway as a volunteer in its infancy and subsequently gave up his job in London a few years ago to work at the railway full-time. The Railway is built on the trackbed of the former Great Eastern Railway between Wroxham and Aylsham. Originally opened in 1880 the line survived for passenger traffic until 1952, eleven years before the infamous Beeching Report! The line did, however, survive for the purpose of carrying freight, a role it performed until the line was formally closed by British Rail in 1982. Norfolk County Council had an enlightened policy of safeguarding closed railway routes for use as footpaths. Through a partnership between local government and the private sector a narrow gauge line was built between Aylsham and Wroxham, with a nine mile long footpath running alongside.  It is Norfolk’s longest narrow gauge railway which runs between the historic market town of Aylsham and bustling town of Wroxham, at the heart of the Norfolk Broads. The 18 mile round trip runs through the pretty Bure Valley countryside following the meandering River Bure through meadowland and ancient pasture. Along the line are wayside halts serving the picturesque Broadland villages of Brampton, Buxton and Coltishall where you can hop off and explore by foot. Hop back on and continue your journey by train by waiving down the driver to stop.

Shooting Commercial Portrait Photography in the heart of a steam based environment opened up some fantastic opportunities. Set against a background of engineering workshops, oil, grease and steam, we captured daily routines and passionate individuals who together, are responsible for the day to day running of the nostalgic railway. Shooting with predominantly natural light really is hard to beat. Creating ‘modern’ looking Commercial Portrait Photography is a case of working with the best lighting and backgrounds and making the most of having an eye for detail and composition. Working with a nice flat light was also really beneficial, reducing harsh shadows and the chances of over exposed highlights. The chances to work with a Northern light canproduce an almost  softbox look creating a soft, flattering light which fits just perfectly  for modern looking portraits. There is a reason why many artists have their  studios purposely facing the north.

We’ve built an epic reputation, engaging with clients across every conceivable social background and documenting Charity Balls, Celebrity Dinners, Corporate Fundraisers and National Festivals across the UK. A great photographer will stealthily and unobtrusively capture the key moments and essence of your event. Event Photography is an awesome means of enabling businesses to maximise social engagement after the event has finished. A good Photographer will work hard, often walking for miles and barely taking a break to ensure that the event is reported in its full visual glory.

The cameras on most smartphones and tablets are superb quality and the effects that can be achieved with photo editing apps is astounding but can you really rely on your audience to crowdsource all of the key moments of the event you need? A professional event photographer is worth every single penny. Taking photos using smartphones and tablets is great means of capturing specific moments and particularly sharing on social media quickly, however, here is a huge gap between this type of imagery and the quality of the pictures returned Event Photography images of your business are suitable for press release, newsletters or internal brochures to name just a few uses. Working with a combination of styles including unobtrusive reportage or society magazine portraiture as your guests arrive, our high quality, affordable service means that you really will have the very best of both worlds.
